Children of Midlothian given a week to Remember!

The feedback from the first ever Free Camp, sponsored by 99 Ventures Ltd, has been amazing and we’re totally blown away by it.

The players were certainly given a week to remember.

Heart of Midlothian’s¬†Player of the Year¬†Christophe Berra took a full session and did a Q&A.

Young Player of the Year John Souttar attended the following day, got stuck in and obliged for all photos and questions asked!

It was a delight to provide these children with such a memorable week, free of cost.

Head of Coaching Darren Murray said about the week:

“When I was first asked to take the job of overseeing the development of Box Soccer coaches and growing Box Soccer in Midlothian, I dreamed of the day we were producing players with the correct balance of grit determination and technical skills needed to reach their full potential. I knew the development of the coaches was key in this, and have worked full out to make sure we have coaches who are demanding but caring, who deliver with energy and enthusiasm to gain the connection to the players.

This has now been recognised by 99 VenturesLtd. Their support and funding has given the opportunity for young football players in the Midlothian area to pursue their dreams. What a week we have had. I would personally like to thank 99 Ventures and our coaching staff for creating memories and giving players access to the best development programme in the world. THANK YOU.”
